Orval Leroy Dunham

Orval Leroy Dunham was born April 11, 1935 in Pushmataha County to E. H. and Lola Mae (Barnhart) Dunham. He passed from this life July 28, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 76. Leroy lived in this area for thirty years. He was of the baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents: E. H. & Lola Dunham; a sister: Cathirene Gibson; and a granddaughter: Charlotte Dunham. He is survived by his wife: Imogene of the home; children: Linda Bradshaw of New York, Roy Dunham, David Dunham and Gary Dunham of Antlers; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers: E. H. Dunham & wife Odessa of Afton, TX., and Buddy Dunham of Antlers; two sisters: Lona Anderson & husband Tob of Antlers and Irene McKnight of Poteau; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Mills & Coffey Chapel in Antlers with Reverend Andy Reed officiating and Lenord Carter presention the Reflections. Musical selections included: "The Old Rugged Cross," "Go Rest High on that Mountain" and "Amazing Grace." Honorary pallbearers were: Lenord Carter, Eugene Doshier, David Clark, Dan Anderson and Garrett Olivis. Interment followed at the Darwin Cemetery in the Darwin Community.
