OSU Extension welcomes new staff member

The Pushmataha County OSU Cooperative Extension Service in Antlers would like to Welcome Julie Staiger to our office. Julie will be the new Family -Consumer Sciences and Half Time 4-H educator for our county.

Julie grew up in Tahlequah, OK and graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1991. She was an active 4-Her in the Cherokee County 4-H program. In 1991, she was a state 4-H project winner in the Consumer Education project. She went on to attend Northeastern State University and received an Associates of Science in Agriculture in 1998 from Connors State College. In May of 1999, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture. After college she went to work for Tyson and Walmart and has also taught school. In 2009, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Human and Family Sciences and began her OCES career in Harmon County (Hollis, OK) as the FCS / 4-H YD extension educator.
