Players recognized at AHS Basketball Banquet

Last Saturday night, coaches, players, parents, and friends gathered to celebrate this 2011/2012 Basketball season. The LadyCats finished their season with a 2nd place trophy from the Talihina Tournament, a Championship Trophy from the Tushka Tournament, Championship trophy from our Antlers Festival, and a District Championship Trophy.

Our Bearcats walked away from this season with a 2nd place trophy from the Tushka Tournament, and Championships of Antlers Festival. Awards received at this year's banquet included:

Sr. Railey Beth Gardner- Daily Oklahoman's 3A All-State Honorable Mention, 2 Rivers Conference 1st team, OCGBA All-Regional, OCA All-Regional, Tushka All Tournament Team, MVP Tushka Tourn, Talihina All Tournament. Railey also received awards for this season's leading scorer, leading steals, and highest Free-Throw percentage.

Sr. Cheyenne Owens- 2 Rivers Conference honorable mention, and best defensive player, most steals per minutes played..

Sr. Taylor Tedder- 2 Rivers Conference 2cnd team, Talihina All Tournament team, leading rebounds.

Sr. Hailey Garman-Talihina All Tournament team , best 3 pt%, 2 Rivers Conference 2cnd team, most improved player over-all four years.

Jr. Chelsi Thomas- highest number of 3 pointers made.

Jr. Megan Brame-most assists, 2 Rivers Conference 2cnd team.

Soph. Meagan Wilbourn-Best Free-Throw percentage

Jr. Harlan House-2 River Conference 2nd team, Tushka All Tournament team

Jr. Jakub "Jimmy" Mician-2 Rivers Conference 1st team
