Possibility of bad weather for area over weekend into next week

Hazardous Weather Outlook

Pushmataha County, along with much of eastern Oklahoma, has a chance of getting some pretty nasty weather over the weekend and into the first part of next week.

Counties included: ADAIR OK-BENTON AR-CARROLL AR-CHEROKEE OK-CHOCTAW OK-CRAIG OK- CRAWFORD AR-CREEK OK-DELAWARE OK-FRANKLIN AR-HASKELL OK-LATIMER OK- LE FLORE OK-MADISON AR-MAYES OK-MCINTOSH OK-MUSKOGEE OK-NOWATA OK- OKFUSKEE OK-OKMULGEE OK-OSAGE OK-OTTAWA OK-PAWNEE OK-PITTSBURG OK- PUSHMATAHA OK-ROGERS OK-SEBASTIAN AR-SEQUOYAH OK-TULSA OK-WAGONER OK- WASHINGTON OK-WASHINGTON AR.

Storm chances are set to increase over the weekend and build into early next week.

Starting overnight, the risk is limited for severe thunderstorms but some areas might see some action after midnight.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT...MAINLY ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA. THERE IS A LIMITED
RISK OF SEVERE HAIL WITH THESE STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
SATURDAY THRU THURSDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT
WEEK. AN UPPER DISTURBANCE WILL BRING THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY INTO
SUNDAY...AND A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL BE THE FOCUS FOR MORE STORMS
SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY. THE BEST CHANCE FOR STORMS WILL BE
ON SUNDAY NIGHT. THERE IS A LIMITED POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE HAIL AND
WIND ANY OF THESE DAYS DUE TO HIGH INSTABILITY.

STORM CHANCES WILL DECREASE FOR THE LATTER HALF OF THE WEEK AS
