The weather could not have been more perfect as the Antlers Bearcats traveled to take on the Panama Razorbacks on their home turf. The Bearcats hoped to boost their 0-2 district standings by beating Panama, with a record of 3-2 overall and 1-1 in district. The boys started off strong, scoring a TD with a run in by #34 Lucas Austin and a 2-point conversion by #5 Zach Speer with 11:05 left in the first quarter. At 9:01 in the second quarter, Zach Speer held on to the ball and managed to break away from the pack, streaking 60 yards to make the second Bearcat touchdown. He then tossed a pass to #12 Tanner Brown adding another 2 points, making the score 16-6, Bearcats. But, a couple of minutes later, Panama came back scoring 6. Bearcats lost on downs and a Razorback made an amazing 95 yard return of the kickoff leaving the score 19-16, Panama. It was fourth down and #12 Brown was in the end zone to receive a pass by #5 Speer when he was slammed into by two Razorbacks.
