Richard D. Williams

Richard David Williams, Jr. was born November 16, 1964 in Antlers to Richard and Corrine (Sutterfield) Williams. He passed from this life January 22, 2012 in Antlers at the age of 47. David had spent his entire life in Antlers, working as a self-employed logger. He was a beloved son, father, brother, and husband. David was an avid hunter and also loved camping and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David is preceded in death by his father: Richard David Williams, Sr. He is survived by his wife: Martha of the home; three Daughters: Tosha McPherson of AR, Ginger Lay of Jacksonville, NC, & Tabitha Adams of Tulsa; one son: Cody Williams of Moyers; two step-children: Brandon Gregory of Atoka and Michelle Ensey of Antlers; seven grandchildren: Caleb, Corwyn, & Kaylee McPherson, McKayla Lay, A.J. Williams, Levi Adams, and Addan Zello; his mother: Corrine Williams of Antlers; one sister: Evelyn Massey & husband George of Wewoka; many nieces and nephews and friends. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Oddfellows Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Hooker officiating. Pallbearers included Chad Ridgway, Clint Williams, James Sutterfield, Tommy Sutterfield, Mark Wall, Tim Eubanks, Tommy Williams, and Lavelle Williams. Interment followed.
