Richard Dean Martin was born on February 23, 1949, to John Henry and Monnie Mae Hagler Martin in Batesville, AR. He passed from this life on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 5:30 a.m. at his home in Vanzant, MO., at the age of 63. Dean was a floor covering installer and loved bass fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother Edna Hagler, and four brothers, Delmar, Don, Eddy and Denver Martin. Dean is survived by four brothers, John Martin of Cloudy, Bill Martin of Dora, MO., Dennis Martin of Cloudy and Ted Martin of Aumsville, OR.; two sisters, Charlene Parish of Bee Branch, AR., and Dorothy Nowlin of Vinita; special nephew David White; best friend Charley Manning of LaPine, OR., and many nieces and nephews.
