Robert Lee “R.L.” White was born July 28, 1928 in Antlers, to Robert D. and Oda (Harrison) White. He passed from this life September 25, 2013, in Antlers, at the age of 85. R.L. had lived in the Antlers area all of his life. He married Mary Lee Hatcher on September 18, 1945, in Antlers and together they raised 4 children. R.L. worked as a mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. R.L. was preceded in death by his son: Roger White; granddaughter: Christy Everett; and parents: Robert & Oda White. He is survived by his wife: Mary Lee of the home; children: Brenda Everett & husband Don of Antlers, Marilyn Maynard & husband Steve of Antlers, and Janet Williams & husband David of Antlers; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; sister: Margie Mills of Antlers; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Antlers First Assembly of God with Aaron Everett & Reverend Robert Weeks officiating. Music included “Go Rest High On That Mountain” by Carl Hatcher, “Look What I Traded For A Mansion” by Carl & Locka Hatcher, and “Let’s Meet By The River”. Pallbearers included Donnie Williams, Anthony Williams, Chuck Maynard, Stephen Maynard, Jeremy White, & Jeffery White with Honorary Pallbearer as Bucky Franks.
