Rollover injures two

At approximately 11:52 p.m. on November 23, 2011 a personal injury collision occurred 1 mile east of Sobol on HWY 3 in Pushmataha County.

A 2000 Ford Pickup, being driven by Betty Siders, a 65 year old white female from Del City, was eastbound on Highway 3 when she ran off the road to the right and went in the ditch causing the vehicle to roll one time, after which it came to rest on its tires.

There were two passenger in the vehicle, a 43 year old white female from Tye, TX. by the name of Sheri Frisby and Cheyenne Siders a 17 year old white female also from Tye TX.

Betty Sider was transported by EMS to Pushmataha Hospital with leg, arm and internal injuries but was listed in stable condition. Sheri Frisby was also transported to Pushmataha Hospital with head and internal injuries and was listed in fair condition. Cheyenne Siders suffered no injuries.

According to police reports the cause of the accident was that the driver was apparently sleepy.

This accident was investigated by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Tommy Allen #304 of the Choctaw County Detachment.
