Rose Nell Page passed from this life Tuesday, June 3, 2014 in Antlers, at the age of 101. She was born April 4, 1913 to W.C. and Mary Jane Kelley in Finley. Rose married Robert Lee "Brown" Page on January 8, 1934 in Antlers. Rose was a member of the Baptist Church in Finley. She lived in the Antlers area all of her life. Rose retired from school teaching in 1972 after 35 years. In her retirement years she liked to help operate the farm and ranch. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and oil painting. She also liked to hunt and fish. Mostly Rose enjoyed her family and spending time with them. Rose is preceded in death by her parents: W.C. & Mary Jane Shilling; husband, Robert Lee "Brown" Page; sisters: Zelma Smith, Lulu Summers, Wilma Matthews, & Ollie Kirk; brothers: W.B. Shilling, Vincent Shilling, & Byron Shilling. She is survived by sister, Dovie Underwood & husband John of Finley; nephew, Carl Shilling & wife Delores of the home; great nieces and nephews: Scarlet & Darrell Scarberry of Nashoba, Patty & Martin Tucker of Antlers, Candida Rose & Tracy Herman of Soper, and Carla & John Antu of Finley as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews; great-great-great nieces & nephews; other relatives and a host of special friends. Family night was held Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:00-8:00pm at Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers. Funeral services were held Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Burkhart Funeral Service in Antlers with Shane Meshaya and Charlie Mueller officiating. Interment followed at Antlers Cemetery. Pallbearers included: Johnny Spurlock, Clark Summers, Stanley Dunlap, Carl Crites, Anthony Williams, Daylan Henderson, Brandon Higgs, and Derek Higgs. Honorary pallbearers included: Jerry Smith, John Summers, Robert Shilling, John Underwood, Darrell Scarberry, Martin Tucker, Tracy Hermon, John Antu, Ron Higgs, Preston Meshaya, Derek Hughes, Mike Smith, JR Shilling, Ronnie Bell, and Larry Bell.
