Roy Earl Wonsch was born June 9, 1955 in Hobbs, NM to Roy O. and Emma Louise (Right) Wonsch. He passed from this life February 2, 2013 in Plano, TX, at the age of 57. Roy loved to read and study the Bible. Roy enjoyed sports, fishing, and walking around town. He is survived by his parents, Roy O. and Emma Louise Wonsch of Antlers; two brothers, Jeryl Wonsch of Antlers and Dennis Wonsch and wife Dianne of Pearl River, LA; one sister, Brenda Myers and husband Mike of Prairieville, LA; nephews, Brandon Myers and wife Kaley of Prairieville, LA, Clay Reavis and wife Janie, Brad Wonsch and wife Jennifer all of Pearl River, LA; Blake Wonsch of Slidell, LA, Roy Wonsch II and wife Evelyn of Lumberton, NC; numerous great nephews and nieces; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 4, 2013 at Lakewood Baptist Church in Powderly, TX with Pastor John Grisswood officiating. Music was “Amazing Grace”, “What A Day That Will Be” performed by Claudette Sizemore, “It Is Well With My Soul”, & “Heaven’s Sounding Sweeter All The Time” performed by William & Jessica Brooks. Pallbearers included John Grisswood, William Brooks, Michael Sizemore, Brandon Myers, Mike Myers, & Dennis Wonsch. Interment followed at Antlers City Cemetery.
