Ruby Lee Fairless-Colvin

Ruby Lee Fairless-Colvin was born December 3, 1949 in Brushy Ridge, to Jimmie Everett and Beulah Lee (Bates) Fairless. She passed from this life December 3, 2012 in Hugo, at the age of 63. Ruby married Gene Boyd Neese in 1965 in Antlers. She worked as a Certified Medication Aide and a Plebotomist at a state hospital in OK. Ruby was of the baptist faith and enjoyed singing karoke, gardening, taking care of her pets and especially spending time with her family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her Parents: Jimmie Fairless and Beulah Lee Bates Fairless; Husband Gene Neese; Brother: Walter Andrew (Dub) Fairless; one son: Samuel Dewayne Neese; one grandaughter: Shanya Lynn Holder; Nephew: Rex Allon Fairless. She is survived by Children: Tim Neese and wife Diane of Antlers,, Michael Holder and Julie Summers of Fairmon; Brother: Jimmie Allon “Okie” Fairless and wife Mary Sue of Antlers; Sister: Dee Bishop and husband Michael of Hugo; Grandchildren: Trenton Michael Carr, Tyler Ray Strycker, Sierra-Nichole Strycker, Anthony Michael Saffal, Zachary Adam Neese, Stephanie Renee Zumwalt, Calvin Wayne O’Day, Curtis Hornback; Great-Grandchildren: Devon and Bailey Zumwalt and Collins Hornback; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor George Pigg officiating. Music selection was “Beer With Jesus”, “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, & “I Swear”. Pallbearers included Robbie McBride, Ronald Fairless, Ronnie McBride, Dawayne Elliott, Zach Neese, & Anthony Saffal with Honorary Pallbearers as Ronnie Willison, Jim White, & Ruben Priest. Interment followed at Hall Cemetery. Family and friends may send online condolences at www.millscoffey.com.
