Shirley Clark-McBride

Shirley Jean Clark-McBride was born January 27, 1957 in Hugo to Argle James and Charlene (Breedlove) Clark. She passed from this life April 30, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 55. Shirley was a lifelong resident of the Antlers area. She had worked for the Antlers Manor Nursing Home as Housekeeper & Laundry Supervisor for over 20 years. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but especially loved being with her grandkids. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Argle & Charlene Clark; brother: Allen Clark; sisters: Connie Lynn Clark and Susan Renae Clark. She is survived by her sons: Chad Sweeden & wife Cinda Mounsey of Antlers and Josh Sweeden & wife Charlene of Ft. Benning, GA; grandchildren: Cody Sweeden, Tristan Sweeden, Audrey Sweeden, Rieley Sweeden, & Braxton Sweeden; brothers: Bill Clark & wife Rhonda of Spencerville and Argle Clark of Antlers; sister: Sandra Bruce of Antlers; as well as many other relatives and friends. Family Night was held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Mills & Coffey Chapel with Brent Franks officiating. Music will include: “Long Black Train”, “When I Get Where I’m Going”, “I Can Only Imagine”, “Calling All Angels”, & “Angel”. Pallbearers will include: Kevin Clark, Justin Clark, Gary Satterfield, Colton Shrum, John Parker, & Bryant Rickman. Interment will follow at Clark Family Cemetery in Speer.
