March Madness is definitely upon us. As the saying goes, “In like a lion, out like a lamb.” This is also the case for Antlers Public Schools. Many exciting opportunities are blowing in as we transition to our Spring schedule. For example, students are preparing for Spring testing, student-athletes are practicing for ball games, livestock are being groomed for FFA State, and Band is preparing for State competition.

Antlers public school is striving to prepare our students for their future, be it for the next grade level, college or their career. We encourage parental involvement and support, such as using our new website to contact teachers or to find out your child’s grades. When WE are helping our students from both home and school, students WIN!!!!

Antlers Public Schools is very excited about our new website,, take a look over the new tabs, get acquainted with the many positive things happening at school.

As we approach Spring Break (March 19-23), we are beginning the 4th nine weeks and parents should be expecting Report Cards in the mail. Please take time out to review your child’s progress and talk with them about their expectations as well as your own during this time away from school. Enjoy this time together with your children.

In closing, we want to remind everyone of the Spring Tests. The testing window starts April 10 and ends the first week in May. Please help us by making sure your child is at school, healthy and fresh, with a positive attitude that they can succeed. We are encouraging them and we want parents to encourage them for positive results this year during the Spring Tests.

Have a super Spring Break and we will see everyone back on Monday, March 26, 2012.
