SWAT Fights Big Tobacco

Famous characters participate in a demonstration from SWAT

On Thursday, March 24, 2011 members of the local SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco) showed their passion for their cause as they set up a demonstration in front of the tobacco section at Pruett's Foods in Antlers. Students were dressed like famous people who have died from tobacco, alcohol and drugs; characters from children's stories, stars who are curently heavy users.and long lost stars. Some of characters depicted were: Cruella DeVille, Walt Disney, Judy Garland and Lindsay Lohan. Through this demonstration, their main goal was to stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco.
