Talion Jared Nelson

Talion Jared Nelson was born June 8, 1971 in Hugo to Terry & Arline Nelson. He passed from this life at his home in Tulsa surrounded by his family at the age of 40 years. Talion was raised in Antlers and was a graduate of Antlers High School, class of 1989.  Talion started his working career at the First Bank of Antlers while attending high school.  Upon moving to Oklahoma City he began working  for Hertz International.   He then made a move to AOL where he was the General Manager of Operations for many years. He was currently employed with Hilti in Tulsa as the E-Business Marketing Director. Talion recently graduated with his MBA from Liverpool University. He accomplished this during the time he was working for Hilti in Switzerland. He loved traveling with his partner Paul & spending time with his family & friends. Talion is survived by his life partner Paul Harrison. Parents: Terry & Arline Nelson, grandparents Lorene Nelson, and Wilson & Grace Walker. Brothers: Greg Nelson of Oklahoma City, Todd and wife Jennifer Nelson of Durant and little sister Teresa Nelson of Oklahoma City. Nieces & Nephews: Gary & Kourtney Nelson, Darian & Dylan Nelson and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 18, at 10:00 a.m. in the Ninde Brookside Chapel in Tulsa.  Visitation was held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving  friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Ninde Brookside Chapel in Tulsa. Flowers are welcomed. The family ask that memorials may be made in memory of Talion to: Open Arms Transitional House,1700 Commerce St #1605, Dallas, Texas 75201 or to the Equality Center, 621 E 4th St, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120.
