The Push for a Better America monthly meeting was held last Friday night and I must say it was a good one. We had a good turnout for our six guest speakers.

Larry Joslin was our MC for the evening. I spoke for the extension of the 1/4 cent tax for the Fire Departments. Kenneth Blan went over the state questions for us.

Carroll Bone from the Choctaw County Conservative group talked to us about the judges on the ballot. As Carrol pointed out, this is a tough one to research.

Mike Brittingham gave a report on the Push County Hospital and the need to continue the 3/4 cent sales tax that benefit’s the hospital.

Paige Scott, field rep for Senator Tom Coburn, told us about what Dr. Coburn had been doing in congress.

Dwayne Thompson spoke for Markwayne Mullin and urged for conservative voters support.

Our State Senator, Jerry Ellis, addressed us on his positions on state issues and asked for our vote to keep him in office.

State Senate District 5 Challenger, Howard Houchen, presented his views and ideas on issues and concerns and likewise asked for our votes.

Folks, the election is next week. Early voting begins Friday. Exercise your right to vote. This is one, if not THE, most important election in many years. Be a part of it.

As a Tea Party Republican, I urge you to vote conservative.
