Tea Party meeting yeilds good crowd

March 1, 2012

By Butch Morris

We had a good turnout at the Push For A Better America meeting last Friday evening. A total of 60 people signed in.

We had an update on the county GOP meeting held the previous Saturday. Country GOP Chairman Jim Gentry presented this.

Richard Allen told us about the Free Clinic here in Antlers that is sponsored by the First Baptist Church.

Debbie Leo gave us an update on the water situation.

Gee Gee Harifield brought us up to speed on the Postal closings.

Fred Kimbell gave legislative updates.

All our speakers were quite informative. We appreciate these folks taking their time to get informed and pass it on to us.

The next Push for a Better America meeting is scheduled for March 23. Come out and join us and see what’s going on in local, state and Federal politics.
