Tea Party News: Being part of the pile - Your vote counts

How much more American can you get than a small town parade? Several of us from the Push for a Better America group participated in the Rattan Rodeo parade last Saturday, September 8th.

I must say that it was a lot of fun and the Rattan folks did a good job putting it together. There were quite a few spectators along the parade route. The parade route being one end of town to the other. Church of Christ to the Baptist Church.

The parade itself consisted of fire trucks, electric utility trucks, 4-wheelers, golf carts, pickup trucks, tractors, trailers, horses and riders and a bright yellow 3 wheeled motorcycle. American flags all around. How cool is that?!

All I know to say is, “Thank God I’m a country boy and can appreciate something like that.” I hope you can say the same. Unless of course your a country girl.

As many readers may have figured out by now, I am big on people exercising their right to vote. One thing I hear a lot is how one person’s vote can cancel out another person’s vote. If your someone who looks at tit that way consider this. Your vote goes into a pile with a bunch of other people who feel the same way. If your vote is in the biggest pile you win. If you look at it that way no one can ever cancel out your vote!
