Three Men Facing Drug Felonies

Substances found field tested for meth-amphetamine and marijuana.

Three county men are facing several drug-related felonies after officers serving a search warrant found drugs.

According to information filed in district court, on Tuesday, officers with the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Department and District 17 Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of Ronald Clark. When the officers arrived, they found Clark as well as Jamie Calhoun, and Joshua Wade Scherer sitting at a table.

During the course of the search, officers found a metal can in Calhoun’s pocket that contained a green, leafy substance and a glass meth pipe was lying on the table. A cigarette pack lying near the pipe contained a plastic bag with a white substance and a plastic bag with a green, leafy substance.

Officers also found a hardware box on the table with a black bag containing plastic bags with white residue and a metal container with a green, leafy substance. The substances found field tested for meth-amphetamine and marijuana and the three men were arrested.

Clark was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled drug, maintaining a place for keeping or selling controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calhoun was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of controlled dangerous substance (second or subsequent), and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.

Scherer was charged with unlawful possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute, misdemeanor possession of a controlled drug and unlawful possession of paraphernalia.
