Two inmates escape from Push Jail - still at large

On Sunday night two inmates being housed at Pushmataha County Jail in Antlers escaped after overpowering the jailer on duty.

Deputies are looking for Michael Avery and Clayton Scraper. Authorities say they were last seen running west away from the jail and were wearing white boxers and white t-shirts.

Both men are considered dangerous.

Clayton D. Scraper is a male of American Indian ethnicity. He is 5 ft. 9 in. tall, 178 pounds, and has Brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a jester on the right side of his chest and barb wire on list left biceps. It has been reported that he has an injury to his left hand.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Scraper was incarcerated in 2005 on three counts of First Degree Rape in Haskell County and was not eligible for parole until 2025.

Michael S. Avery is a male of Hispanic ethnicity. He is 5 ft. 7 in. tall, 183 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. Avery has a scar under his chin, on his left cheek, and on his forehead. He has a Superman emblem tattooed on his left arm, along with Hit Me and Fly. On his right arm he has Hitler Die and a faded tiki man. It has been reported that at the time of his escape he had recently shaved his head.

According to ODOC, Avery was charged with Arson in the third degree, three counts of uttering a forged instrument and one charge of obtaining property and currency by false pretense in Atoka County.
