Vicki Bell Savage was born December 30, 1946 in Copeville, TX., to Walter Levi and Jessie Henrietta (Jones) Wester. She passed from this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 64. Vicki married Clarence Troy Savage on May 6, 1965 in Gilliam, AR. They have lived in this community for 35 years and together, have raised five children. Vicki’s legacy lives on through her four daughters, one son, ten grandchildren and two greats. Vicki was a member of Finley Baptist Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She touched many lives. Her kindness and generosity extended far beyond what anyone knows. During the course of her illness, so many people have shared how Vicki touched them. The family has begun to realize the magnitude of her impact on her friends, family, patients and sometimes even on those she didn’t know. Vicki lived life mostly “under the radar.” Her humble manner never got her a lot of earthly recognition. However, as the stories began to culminate, her unselfish Christian walk is what has defined her. Her amazing race is over. Thanks be to God for the victory.
