Weaton Named 2011-2012 Homecoming Queen

Winners of the Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Pageant. Queen- Sadie Wheaton, Junior Miss- Kami Wilkerson, Petite Miss- Mackenzie Heffner, Sweetheart Miss- Mahaley Cole and Baby Miss- Keira Taylor.

This year's theme for the Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Pageant was "Big City Lights." The pageant was held June 3, 2011 at the Antlers High School Auditorium. The Auditorium was filled with family and friends that came out to show these young ladies their support.

15 Contestants competed in the pageant and your 2011-2012 Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Queen is Sadie Wheaton. The Pageant also featured drawings and giveaways for Prizes, for the contestants and for the people in the audience.

Past Homecoming Oueen, reigning "2010-2011 Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Queen" Mykah Staples, presented the awards to the new winners. Along with the "2009-2010 Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Queen" Brittany Lopez.

The Awards for the 2011-2012 "Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Pageant is as follows: "Miss Hospitality Queen" 0-18 years went to Keira Taylor.

A few special awards were given out: The "Best Formal Wear" Awards went to Layla Tomlinson, Mahaley Cole, Jaleigh Landreth, Kami Wilkerson, and Jessica Blan. The "Overall Formal Wear" 0-18 years went to Keira Taylor.

The "Best Fun Wear" went to Keira Taylor, Mahaley Cole, Jaleigh Landreth, Kami Wilkerson, and Sadie Wheaton. The "Overall Fun Wear" went to Shaynie Landreth.

The "Most Beautiful" Award went to Shaynie Landreth, Mahaley Cole, Holli Hembree, Brianna Chiles, and Sadie Wheaton. The "Overall Most Beautiful" 0-18 years went to Jessica Blan.

This was taken from the Formal Wear Line Up. The "Most Photogenic" Award went to Keira Taylor, Mahaley Cole, Mackenzie Heffner, Kami Wilkerson, and Sadie Wheaton. The "Overall Photogenic" 0-18 years went to Layla Tomlinson.

"Best Introduction Award" 15-18 years went to Jessica Blan.

The "Talent" Award went to Kami Wilkerson and Sadie Wheaton. The "Overall Talent" 9-18 years went to Jessica Blan for doing a "Dance/Flag Routine to the song "Dynamite." Wonderful Job!!!!

"Baby Miss Queen" 0-18 months winner is Keira Taylor, 1st Runner Up went to Layla Tomlinson, 2nd Runner Up went to Serenity Miller, 3rd Runner Up went to Shaynie Landreth, 4th Runner Up went to Aaliyah Fuller.

"Sweetheart Miss Queen"3-5 years winner is Mahaley Cole.

"Petite Miss Queen" 6-8 years winner is Mackenzie Heffner, 1st Runner Up went to Jaleigh Landreth, 2nd Runner Up went to Peyton Leftrick, 3rd Runner Up went to Holli Hembree.

"Junior Miss Queen" 12-14 years winner is Kami Wilkerson, 1st Runner Up went to Khrissa Boley, 2nd Runner Up Brianna Chiles.

"Miss Pushmataha County Homecoming Queen 15-18 years is Sadie Wheaton, 1st Runner Up went to Jessica Blan.

The music and lights were operated by Wes Haddox. Julie Gibson served as Pageant Director.
