On Saturday, February 25, members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club will hold their 41st Annual Awards Banquet. The banquet will be held at the Antlers High School Cafeteria and will begin at 6:00 p.m. On tap for the menu will be smoked brisket, rolls and soft drinks with members bringing all the side dishes and desserts.
The speaker for this year’s banquet will be Mr. Jack Waymire, manager of the Pushmataha County Wildlife Management Area near Clayton. Jack will update members on current wildlife conditions and habitat conditions as well.
There will be door prizes for both the men and women that attend and as always, every child that attends will receive a prize. Awards will be presented to members for their accomplishments in the areas of turkey hunting, bass fishing and deer hunting. This is a family oriented event. Friends and family of club members are invited to attend. Those wishing to join the club are also invited. Membership fees are only $15.00 per year.View more articles in:
