Charges were officially filed against Rhonda M. Ford, 29, on May 2, 2012, in answer to accusations made against her involving inappropriate behavior involving students at Clayton High School. Ford was a teacher at Clayton High School at the time of the incidents but quickly resigned.
Ford faces over 12 felony counts, including: 1 count of lewd molestation or indecent proposals to a child under the age of 16, 4 counts of second degree rape, 4 counts of sodomy and 3 counts of permitting guests under 21 to possess or consume alcohol or beer.
The accusations span a time frame from February 14, 2012 to February 23, 2012.
In March, the Clayton Police Department requested that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation open a case based on allegations against Ford having a sexual relationship with a 15 year old male student attending Clayton High School.
The student told investigators that he had sex with Ford on at least 10 occasions in her home after their relationship started in February.
According to the affidavit, shortly after Valentine’s Day, the student said he and Ford kissed and then had a sexual encounter that involved touching of the genitals. The boy said that he returned to Ford’s residence and had intercourse with her the next day and up to 10 times total.
Three times the two preformed oral sex on each other, according to the affidavit.
The boy stated that because of the sexual relationship, he could identify a tattoo on Ford’s pelvic area, which is placed low enough to be hidden by panties.
The document also alleges Ford of providing alcohol to three students at her residence in March after they had helped Ford move into her new house. According to the documents, there were two boys and one girl present at the time of the infraction. After they had helped Ford move, she bought them a 30 pack of bear. The students told investigators that Ford then fixed herself a cocktail of pineapple juice and rum, and provided one to one of the students present.
Before becoming employed at Clayton High School, Ford had been employed at Cleveland Public Schools where she was only employed for one semester. Cleveland High School Principle, Allen Baker, is listed as one of the witnesses for the State of Oklahoma on the affidavit, but no media outlets have been able to make contact with him as of yet.
Ford turned her self in to Pushmataha County Law Enforcement officers on Sunday, May 6, 2012 and was booked into the Pushmataha County Jail, where she remains. Ford’s bond was sent in the amount of $100,000.00.
