The Antlers Farmer's Market is once again open and ready for business. The Farmer’s Market is open for operation every Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until Noon. It is located across the street from The Convenience Center in Antlers.
Until the end of August, they are running a special to encourage farmers and gardeners to come out and sell their produce for profit.
“If you over planted, your plants produced more then you expected or you just want to make some extra cash, why not sell at the Farmer’s Market?,” said Shawn Long with PDI.
Normally the membership fee is $20 a year but, for the months of July and August, sellers will get a 75% discount. That means that the membership fee, if you join in the next two months, will only be $5.00.
The operators of the Farmer’s Market stated that there is always plenty of room for more vendors to set up and sell their goods. So don’t worry or wonder if there is a space for you because they will make room for you.
The farmers market sells a wide range of fruits, vegetables, natural honey and so much more. They also accept SNAP vouchers and Senior Nutrition Vouchers.
