Did the election go to suit you? I hope so. You did vote, didn't you? If you didn't, you have one more chance this year to do your duty.
This next one is the biggie. It's the one where we decide the direction of the country. Do we want to stay on the course of philosophical, moral, and financial ruin or do we want to change direction. Back to a more traditional American attitude. You, the voters, are the ones to answer that question.
Speaking of voting, I hear people say on a fairly frequent basis that they don't think their vote counts. I disagree with the premise. Just ask the guy at Clayton who lost the school board election by one vote.
Conversely, I imagine that the person who won by one was pretty tickled with that one person who cast that single ballot. There's some food for thought.
