An arrest warrant was issued for an Antlers man after striking a man in the face at the FirstBank ATM in Antlers.
Officers responded to a call from Michael Staples who informed them he was at the FirstBank ATM in Antlers when his foot slipped off the break causing him to slowly roll forward and he hit the vehicle in front of him.
Staples reported to officers that the female driver jumped out of the vehicle and started yelling at him. He said that he apologized to the female and said that he would contact the police and insurance company and get the damaged fixed and everything worked out.
Staples then said that the passenger’s side door opened and a man, Curtis G. Dillishaw, got out of the vehicle and walked back to Staples vehicle where he opened Staple’s door and punched him in the face. Officers reports state that Staples had a red mark on the left side of his face.
Dillishaw was not found at that time. Dispatch received a call at about 12:15 p.m. stating that Staple’s dad was behind Dillishaw on south 7th street in Antlers. They received another call at 12:20 p.m. stating he was now behind him again heading south on Hwy 271. Officers never were able to locate Dillishaw.
Dillishaw was later arrested and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
