1 Million Moms Against Gun Control Goes National.
1 Million Moms Against Gun Control, a movement dedicated to upholding the protection of rights outlined in the Constitution, mostly notably the Second Amendment Protection of the right to keep and bear arms, has launched their official website (www.1MMAGC.com ) along with state chapters. Founded in response to a movement that seeks to violate the Constitution and Second Amendment protections, the 1MMAGC movement has taken social media by storm, with a rapidly climbing reach achieved in only a matter of weeks. The group’s founder says she was outrage when she saw the reactions of some to the tragedy at Sandy Hook, and started a Facebook Page as an opposing view and digital protest to what she was seeing in the media.
Since then, 1 Million Moms Against Gun Control has grown its weekly audience to nearly half a million people-- all in the span of roughly one month’s time. The movement has gained such substantial traction that in order to best manage the desire for involvement of thousands of people across the country, they found it necessary to develop state chapters. These individual state chapters will aid the organization in better serving Americans and involved and see the difference they are making.
State chapters can be accessed though their website, at www. 1MMAGC.com.
