Johnny Leroy Riley was born March 8, 1951, in Antlers, to Oather John and Myrtle Azalee (Holder) Riley. He passed from this life March 29, 2013 in Antlers, at the age of 62. Leroy had lived in the Antlers area all his life, with grandparents Cora Holder, and Mack Holder. Leroy graduated from Carver Center in Oklahoma City, after living with his parents that year, and was of the Baptist faith. He married Floy Dean England in Antlers in 1992. Leroy worked as an automotive mechanic for many years and worked on the turnpike construction. He never missed work, riding his bicycle in all types of weather and offering help to just about anyone in need of assistance. Leroy was loved by all and had a big heart, always helping everyone he met. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Leroy was preceded in death by his sister: Rita Ann Dunning; two brothers: Robert Dean Riley and James Jeff Riley; father: Oather John Riley; and one brother-in-law: Floyd Lasure. He is survived by his wife: Floy Riley of the home; two daughters: Emmalitha and Josephina; his mother: Myrtle Carterby of Antlers; two brothers: Otis Lee Riley & wife Linda of Choctaw, and Jeffery Riley of Antlers; five sisters: Brenda Lasure & fiance Christopher Sparks of Choctaw, Maxine Flynn & husband Jaye of Harrah, Rebecca Armstead & husband Jeffery of Moore, Cora Riley of Harrah, and Lisa Burris & husband Jeremy of Roff; uncle: Cecil Sutterfield & son Michael Sutterfield and families; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Mills & Coffey Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jim Collier officiating. Music was “Old Rugged Cross”, “Will The Circle Be Unbroken”, & “Shall We Gather At The River”. Pallbearers included Michael Sutterfield, Otis Riley, Jeffery Riley, Jeremy Burris, Jaye Flynn, & Jeffrey Armstead. Interment followed at Antlers City Cemetery.
