With the arrival of Spring, many residents have started to catch Spring Fever!!! Among the ones affected by the warming weather was John Cooksey and his loyal companion, Ginger. The dynamic duo was captured by John’s wife, Connie, while they were wetting their hooks at McGee Creek Lake.

With the weather hot and dry, two legged family members aren't the only ones enjoying cooling off with fun in the pool. Pattie Parks of Antlers was able to catch these Labrador puppies splishin' and a splashin' on a hot afternoon.
Wednesday morning found many people checking to see if they had suffered any storm damage during the night. While the rain was very welcome, some people did have a mess to clean up. This picture shows a large Oak tree that was blown over and landed in the Kent Baptist Church parking lot. Luckily no buildings or the church was damaged.
