U.S. Congressman Dan Boren met with General Ann E. Dunwoody, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), recently in his Washington D.C. office. AMC is one of the largest commands in the Army with more than 66,000 employees and an impact or presence in 48 states and 127 countries.Â
AMC is the Army command that oversees the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (McAAP) in eastern Oklahoma. Congressman Boren also currently serves as the Democrat Co-Chair for the Military Depot and Industrial Facilities Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives.
