Thelma Jean Hamilton was born April 19, 1927 in Moore, AR., to Eddie and Dora (Kindlyn) Humphrey. She passed from this life September 17, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 84. Thelma Humphrey married Burnerd Hamilton November 6, 1943 in Lodi, CA., and together they raised three children. Thelma was an Associate Pastor with Reverend Andy Reed at the Finley Assembly of God for 10 years. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God where she was licensed to preach. Thelma enjoyed singing gospel music with the Hamilton Family Group, which she founded, and playing the guitar.
