Billy Latham, President Pushmataha County Sportsman Club
On Saturday, May 19, members of the Pushmataha County Sportsman Club held a bass tournament on Sardis Lake. Twenty anglers competed in the event. More anglers may have competed had it not been for the fact that strong winds were predicted for that day. Sardis Lake can become quite dangerous on windy days due to the large wave action. The wind was a factor to those who did compete as many were not able to go to and fish in some of their normal areas of the lake.
