Jake Collins recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Eastern Oklahoma State College. Jake is the grandson of Kenneth & Royce Battles of Antlers and was recently name Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association Player of the Year. Seated are his parents: Ed Collins & Tammy Collins. Hundreds of students from across the state recently competed in the 66th annual Southeast District Livestock Show at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. The show is jointly sponsored by the Eastern Agriculture Division and the Wilburton Lions Club. There were 413 swine, 108 sheep, 159 goats and 124 cattle entered in the show.
On Tuesday, January 29th, our Bearcats traveled to Valliant to take on Coach Aaron Noel’s Bulldogs, who we haven’t been able to beat in nine years. Our Bearcats knew this game would be a tough one, especially on the Bulldogs homecoming night, and they were prepared to go hard all four quarters.
