John Holt Cooper

John Holt Cooper was born on July 4, 1922 in Picher. He departed from this life on June 12, 2013 in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife Pat of the home, daughters: Joellen Wheeler, Broken Arrow and Kelley Branham, Broken Arrow, Granddaughters Natalie Hamilton of Fountain Valley, CA. Suzanne Storie and Courtney Duncan, Broken Arrow. One Sister: Nancy Heindl of Plano, TX. Seven Great-grandchildren: Jack, Benjamin, Sydney, Kennedy, Mylee, Nadia and Chandler. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Carolyn Beth Cooper, his grandson : Clayton Cooper Duncan, his brothers: Jess Cooper, E.A. Cooper, and Bill Cooper. He owned and operated the Kiamichi Drive-In Theater in Antlers for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at the Antlers High School Auditorium on Saturday the 29th of June at 1:00 PM. The family would like to invite anyone that would like to share any memories about John to feel free to do so at the service. If you do not feel comfortable speaking, please write it down and we will read those also. DUE TO AN EXTREME FAMILY ALLERGY TO FLOWERS, THE FAMILY REQUESTS NO FLOWERS.
