Stephen Todd Higby was born October 19, 1963 in Benton, AR., to Robert and Sharon (Henningsen) Higby. He passed from this life August 14, 2011 in Antlers at the age of 47. Todd and Joyce Martinez had been married for over 24 years, and they had lived in the Antlers area for the past 17 years. Todd enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an active participant of the local Boy Scouts. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Joyce of the home; sons: Marty Higby of Antlers and Alex Wallis & wife Lindsey of Broken Bow; grandchild: Lexton Wallis; father: Robert Higby & wife Eva of Antlers; mother: Sharon Henningsen; sister: Terrie Bondi & husband Ben of Mary Ester, FL.; two stepsisters: Kim Prescott of Tulsa and Jackie Halcomb Neese & husband Jarod of Antlers; three stepbrothers: Kevin Ingram of Kitchener Ontario, Canada, Tim Ingram of Antlers, and Scott Prescott & wife Jennifer of Kewannee, IL.; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Mills & Coffey Chapel with Pastor Terry Vaughan officiating. Musical selections will include: “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful,” “Tears In Heaven” and “Go Rest High On That Mountain.” Honorary Pallbearers are: Morris Calder, Joe Rodriguez, Andy Hale, David Phillips, Tim Ingram, Lee Step, Robert Wallace, Todd Jones, Alan Brown and Jarod Neese.
