Antlers received $100,136 in sales tax disbursements in February, an increase over the $95,522 received in February of last year. Antlers also received a use tax disbursement of $5,352 in February, down from the $6,184 received in February of last year.
Clayton received a $40,416 sales tax disbursement in February, up from the $29,059 received in February of 2011.
Rattan received a sales tax disbursement of $1,530 in February, a decrease from the $2,116 received last February.
Pushmataha County received a $110,896 county sales tax disbursement in February, up from the $101,919 received in February of last year.
Regionally, Atoka County saw a decrease from last February’s sales tax disbursement of $202,015, receiving $190,286 last month.
Choctaw County received $192,525 last month, an increase over the $183,467 received in February of last year.
McCurtain County received a $355,083 sales tax disbursement in February, a slight increase over the $351,435 received in February of last year.
The February distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission represents local tax receipts from December business. Companies with more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The revenue they reported this period represent sales from December 16th to December 31st and estimated sales from January 1st to January 15th.
The disbursement of $133,910,674 in sales tax collections was returned to 508 cities and towns reflecting a increase of $11,647,567 from the $122,263,107 distributed to 507 cities and towns in February last year. The use tax disbursement of $12,344,379 was distributed between 369 cities and towns.
In county returns, 76 counties shared in a $28,588,272 sales tax disbursement. The use tax disbursement of $2,951,176 was distributed between 71 counties.
